Update on the University of Kent at Canterbury Meningitis B Outbreak - Dose 2
Students who received Dose 1 of the MenB vaccine after the Kent meningitis outbreak are now due Dose 2. Dose 2 should be given from 4 weeks after Dose 1 for effective protection. Those offered MenB who haven’t yet had Dose 1 remain eligible until 8 May. Students back at university can get Dose 2 at Canterbury clinics; those not returned can access Hep B vaccination at either site.
